Top 5 Things To Do In Victoria For The 2023 Halloween Season
Spooky season is upon us and whether you are 5, 25 or 50 we all like to have a little fun with Halloween. Victoria has so many great events this time of year, but here are the top 5 things you should do to get yourself into the Halloween Spirit.
The Spooktacular Halloween Train
Duncan’s Halloween Train is BACK!!! Take a ride through a 100 acre forest, past a variety of eerie, ghostly scenes, which gives you the chance to spot plenty of scary characters at the museum. There is fun for all with crafts, trick or treating, and live entertainment. Train rides start on Oct 20th and will run for 9 days.
Murder Mystery Party
If you’ve grown out of trick or treating and mystery games are more your speed you can sign up for the halloween murder mystery party at Board with Friends downtown on Oct 31. There will be snacks, prizes and a fun filled night of mystery. This year our theme takes place in Sugar Plum Valley where all Fairytale characters live together. Evil and Good, they live to co-exist, but something happened in their lovely town!
Treat Street
Treat Street in Langford is a free family trick or treat experience that takes place at Langford Station on October 31 from 530pm-830pm. There will be free hotdogs, live music, games, pumpkin carving, photo opportunities, balloon art and more. There is a similar event also happening downtown Sidney from 430pm-630pm where families can trick or treat at a variety of treat stations around Sidney.
Halloween Market
There will be a Halloween Market happening at the Da Vinci Center on October 14 from 11-4. Stop by to check out 50+ halloween themed vendors, as well as live music and tasty food trucks. A portion of each admissions ticket will be donated to Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association.
Galey Farms
Everyone’s favourite fall destination! They have so many fun events like their festival of fear, carnevil and pumpkinfest. Come experience the corn maze, haunted houses, pumpkin picking and so much more. From now until the end of October you can plan a day to visit the farm and get into the halloween spirit!!
